Reds, Greens and Vintage Furs!

!!!Reds, Greens and Vintage Furs!!!!

I absolutely love living in New York City. Years ago, my fiancee, relocated to Oklahoma and expected me to move with him, after a few visits he quickly became an ex. I love Brooklyn most of all. I lived here most of my life, with some time spent in parts of the Rockaways (way too windy), Forest Hills (way too far), Upper East Side (way too "cold"), and somehow I always ended up back here.

I've called Bay Ridge home since 2011. The amazing restaurants and pretty little boutiques decorating 3rd Avenue, the addictive shopping of 86th Street, the  beautiful Verrazano Bridge, stands with the power and confidence of connecting two sides of this great big multi faceted city.

Exploring Bay Ridge with my husband/photographer/graphic designer/cheer leader is really the most fun I've had in months.

When I put my looks together, I usually have something vintage, something new, something colorful and creative. I love sweater dresses which are both very chic and flattering. This dress is made of light wool ribbed material, that flatters the figure. Its from a local boutique Towne. I have several neutral colors and than dress them up with accessories.

I took a red link necklace, laced a small Mila & Such scarf through for some extra texture and pop.

Another way I love accessorizing is to add a bit of bling and color for the holidays, is that fabulous hat wrapped in a red scarf and secured by your favorite vintage broach.

Ba Da Bling!

The coat is a vintage piece with fur vest and wool knit sleeves! I LOVE IT SO MUCH! You can check out a list of all of my favorite vintage stores here

Add a little heel boot and a glam gold lippie disguised as a water proof eyeshadow by Rimmel London in color 002, Bulletproof Beige, and you're ready to TAKE OVER ThE WORLD! hahaha

What was your favorite place to live? Do you have an amazing resale shop you love? Do you have an amazingly unique way that you multi use your scarf? Do share!!!
