That Red Motto Jacket and Silk Bling!

'Tis the season for Red Motto Jacket and Soft Silk!

I know there is a list of those classic must have items in your closet. You know...staple pieces. Things like a great pair of jeans, a great looking simple white (or black) tee, comfortable and kick ass pair of black heels, a flattering classic black blazer (I love the tux or military kind), a figure flattering pencil skirt, a versatile  multifunctional silk scarf, and of course a fabulous and functional coat or motto jacket. I would like to add to that list....a red (or any flattering color for your complexion) leather jacket! The black jacket is classic. Its timeless. Everyone has one.

I absolutely love color in my wardrobe, and always have that "pop" in one way or another. I find red looks pretty great on blonds, and honestly a shade of it can be perfect on almost any completion. I look for reds with a blue tint, as I feel reds with orange tints tend to make me look "yellow".

I like red accents, because I feel the powerful strong energy this deep shade transmits.I fell in love with this red motto jacket because of how versatile it can be to wear during all four seasons, and the classic lines of it will almost always be in style.

I like this style especially, because it has the belt feature which I find flattering for most women shapes. If you do not have a deeply defined waist, this creates a nice hour glass effect. If you do have a tiny waist, this style brings the attention to your figure. It looks great with both pants, skirts or dresses, and can be as casual or as dressy as you need it to be.

This season I've been obsessed with sweater dresses as well. They are sooooo easy to wear, and all you need is a nice accessory to go from day to night, such as a silk scarf, an awesome bag, or a statement necklace. The one Im wearing is from a boutique called Towne. You can check out their inventory here

To purchase one of our scarves, please click here for the full collection. The bag is by Badgley Mischka and available at an awesome resale shop here in Brooklyn, called consignment connection and the link to make this beauty yours is here

I hope you have fun this holiday season and bring out the bold and adventurous you!

Some more pieces I like similar to this look are available below. xoxo
