Today we are going to talk about the life of one of the greatest post impressionist painters of France, Henri Julien Felix Rousseau. He was given the nickname “Le Douanier” which means the customs officer by his acquaintances in the Parisian avant-garde, as he worked as a tax collector at the Paris gates.
